About Us

The District Attorney’s Office of the 7th Judicial Circuit serves the communities of Calhoun and Cleburne Counties.  The office takes an active role in protecting these communities by working closely with law enforcement agencies on  local, county, state and federal levels. The District Attorney as well as all Assistant District Attorneys are available to law enforcement agencies not only during normal office hours, but after hours as well for purposes of advising and assisting law enforcement and magistrates, assisting in the preparation of search warrants, and providing on scene support for major crimes.

As of 2013, the DA’s Office is represented in Cleburne County by the assignment of a full time Assistant District Attorney to screen felony warrants and prosecute felony cases.  This augments the existing relationship with part time Assistant District Attorneys who have been prosecuting traffic, misdemeanor and domestic violence cases.

The District Attorney’s Office serves the community not only by prosecuting traffic cases, misdemeanors and felonies, but also by assisting victims through our Victim Service Officers, our Worthless Check Unit as well as our Restitution Recovery Unit.  Please explore our site for further information.  Should you have any questions or comments, please use our Contact Us feature to address those to us.
