C. Lynn Hammond is the Chief Assistant District Attorney for the Calhoun/Cleburne County District Attorney’s Office and is a graduate of Oxford High School, Auburn University and Jones School of Law.  She has served as an Assistant District Attorney within the Calhoun/Cleburne County District Attorney’s Office for over 20 years.  In 2013 she was voted Assistant District Attorney of the Year by the Alabama District Attorneys’ Investigators Association.  Her duties include supervision of the Legal Staff, prosecution of Capital Cases and all other violent crimes, prosecution of felony cases assigned to Judge “Bud” Turner, and answers directly to the District Attorney, Brian A. McVeigh.
